New Job Posting - Travel Consultant for the NCAA Championship Dept.

Short’s Travel Management is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the open position of Travel Consultant for the NCAA Championship Dept. This position will be located in our Waterloo, IA office. A qualified candidate is required to have a High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar customer service position. A Travel and Tourism Certification is desired but not mandatory.
This position responds to customer travel requests received via all means of business contact (phone, e-mail or fax) for reservations (air, hotel, rental car, charters or other modes of transportation) in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. An individual in this position manages all functions relating to the booking, administrative and accounting tasks necessary to process electronic or other travel documents as it relates to customer requests and industry requirements. The candidate placed in this position will have the ability to function autonomously and in a team environment.
